A young snow leopard (Panthera uncia) sprouts up to welcome you to his enclosure, which is full of wonderful things like high platforms, enrichment, a rocky den, trees, shrubs for shade,cover for stalking. and fellow snow leopards...for stalking.
It's a fairly dynamic set-up which ensures the residents can enjoy themselves with activities or lounge until they become covered in snow. For enclosure design, it's not always about size, lest we overlook the things animals enjoy for the space they are supposed to enjoy them in.
