Karma, a female snow leopard (Panthera uncia) at Jungle Cat World, hangs around in her cool den on a hot day while a zookeeper works on improving her enclosure. If you look closely, you can see her sister, Kush enjoying the cool den behind her.

Definitely, both expressive in their own ways. Karma is more partial to stern, defensiveness whereas Kush will demonstrate a more laid-back set of expressions.

:) I hope they live long, and prosper; okay - yeah, Vulcanism coming home. But seriously, I really do hope they live well and help the species survive. Sadly, humans run havoc on the world and it seems that the majority wishes to not do anything about it. Granted, yes, change is hard. Still, this is our world, and our fellow lives we're talking about. A big kiss to Karma and Kush.

This is such a nice shot of Karma. I love the way her shelter there forms a frame around her in this photo. The detail is perfect as well. Keep up the great work Kuba.
